Flat-rate data
A set amount, at full speed.
5 GB to 50 GB of high-speed data to use however you like, usually over 30 days. No daily limit and no slowdown until it's used up; then add more or buy another.
Unlimited data
Unlimited by the day, with a fair-use allowance.
Data never stops. Each 24 hours you get a high-speed allowance of 4 GB in most countries (6 GB in some, like the US and Europe; shown for each country), and after that data carries on at 1 Mbps until the day resets.
The allowance resets 24 hours after your day starts. Best for short trips and heavy days of maps, video and hotspot.
