About this plan
Russia plans run on MTS, Russia's largest network, as a local SIM. Because your connection exits in Russia, services that block Russian connections (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Viber, ChatGPT and others) won't work on it.
Direct on MTS
This eSIM is a genuine MTS SIM, not a reseller's roaming profile. In Russia your phone joins the network directly, like a local customer's, and your connection goes straight to the internet from there.
Most travel eSIMs send everything through a hub in another country, often on another continent, so every page, call and game makes a long round trip. A direct local connection keeps latency low, which is what makes video calls, meetings and online games feel smooth.
Speeds can vary with your phone model and the bands it supports in each country.
