North America Unlimited

About this plan

North America Unlimited is a full US phone line on AT&T: a new number, unlimited talk and text, and unlimited data that keeps working when you cross into Mexico. Data is deprioritized, so it may slow when the network is busy. It suits a primary line, a second line for work, or a US number for time you spend in the States.

Direct on AT&T

This eSIM is a genuine AT&T SIM, not a reseller's roaming profile. In the US your phone joins the network directly, like a local customer's, and your connection goes straight to the internet from there.

Most travel eSIMs send everything through a hub in another country, often on another continent, so every page, call and game makes a long round trip. A direct local connection keeps latency low, which is what makes video calls, meetings and online games feel smooth.

In the plan's other countries it uses AT&T's partner networks, and your connection still exits in the US. Latency is lowest nearby and higher the farther you are from there.

Speeds can vary with your phone model and the bands it supports in each country.
